Adsense Secret

adsense Ready to find out a huge adsense secret? Of course you are! Joal Comm writes about the number one mistake that people can make when displaying their adsense. I urge you to read this before you place your ads or even if you have your ads displayed!

The #1 Biggest Mistake That People Make With Adsense
By Joel Comm
It's very easy to make a lot of money with AdSense. I know it's easy because in a short space of time, I've managed to turn the sort of AdSense revenues that wouldn't keep me in candy into the kind of income that pays the mortgage on a large suburban house, makes the payments on a family car and does a whole lot more besides.
But that doesn't mean there aren't any number of mistakes that you can make when trying to increase your AdSense income - and any one of those mistakes can keep you earning candy money instead of earning the sort of cash that can pay for your home.
There is one mistake though that will totally destroy your chances of earning a decent AdSense income before you've even started.
That mistake is making your ad look like an ad.
No one wants to click on an ad. Your users don't come to your site looking for advertisements. They come looking for content and their first instinct is to ignore everything else. And they've grown better and better at doing just that. Today's Internet users know exactly what a banner ad looks like. They know what it means, where to expect it - and they know exactly how to ignore it. In fact most Internet users don't even see the banners at the top of the Web pages they're reading or the skyscrapers running up the side.
But when you first open an AdSense account, the format and layout of the ads you receive will have been designed to look just like ads. That's the default setting for AdSense - and that's the setting that you have to work hard to change.
That's where AdSense gets interesting. There are dozens of different strategies that smart AdSense account holders can use to stop their ads looking like ads - and make them look attractive to users. They include choosing the right formats for your ad, placing them in the most effective spots on the page, putting together the best combination of ad units, enhancing your site with the best keywords, selecting the most ideal colors for the font and the background, and a whole lot more besides.
The biggest AdSense mistake you can make is leaving your AdSense units looking like ads.
The second biggest mistake you can make is to not know the best strategies to change them.

New, Adsense For Domain, Try this one

Friday, February 27, 2009

If you own domains and you DO NOT have websites developed for those domains, you can use AdSense for Domains. If someone types in the domain name and lands on that page, they will see a page full of ads and no content. If they click an ad you will get paid.
The Inside Adsense Blog has just announced that Adsense for Domains is now available to all publishers who owns several domains which are not really live sites. Whereas previously the only way that domain owners can earn from their registered dormant sites was to let third-party publishers to run their ads on those and then earn a miniscule of earnings. But with the Adsense for Domains open to all publishers, everyone can now run Adsense on their dormant domains regardless of whether they own only one or two domains.
By being available to “all publishers”, Google meant only those who are located in the U.S. Google Adsense is yet to roll this out to “all publishers” worldwide.
Although this would not make domain owners ultra-rich with revenues, it is however a better deal than letting other advertisers not connected with Adsense run their ads on those domains. If you opt to join Adsense for Domains, which you can do so by visiting your Adsense account, Google will run ads, links and search results on the dormant domains and will add more useful information in the near future.
Instead of paying them for nothing and hoping someday that somebody would buy it a high price, might as well run Adsense for Domain there.

AdSense Tips

Sunday, December 21, 2008

  1. AdSense Earning = Impression-count x Click-though-rate x Cost-per-click x smart-pricing-factor.

  2. Impression count is basically referring to your traffic. It means the number of times AdSense block is displayed.

  3. Click-through-rate (CTR) is ratio of clicks per impressions. It can range from 0.1% to 30%, but most commonly around 1% to 10%.

  4. Cost-per-click (CPC) is the earning you get per click. While traditionally it refers to the amount advertisers pay for each click, it can also mean the amount publishers get for each click.

  5. Smart-pricing is AdSense method to determine how valuable clicks from your site is worth. If clicks on your site doesn’t provide good value to advertisers, e.g. from visitors’ geo-location that seldom translate to sales, you will only get a fraction of the supposed CPC.

  6. Apply for AdSense account via blogger.com for faster approval.

  7. Once you get your AdSense publisher code, you can put it any of your websites without requiring further approval.

  8. Read and reread Google AdSense Program Policies and Terms and Conditions.

  9. Don’t click on your own ads, or ask people to click, even if you are using proxies.

  10. Don’t use click-bots.

  11. Don’t encourage your visitors to click on ads. The only acceptable text is “Sponsored Links” and “Advertisements”.

  12. Don’t put competitor contextual ads on the same page as your AdSense, for example: Yahoo Publisher Network, Clicksor. Non-contextual ads are ok.

  13. Don’t put your ads on objectionable material, e.g. adult sites, gambling sites, mp3, etc.

  14. Basically, don’t cheat AdSense. Google will catch you, sooner or later.

  15. Viewing your on website will not get you banned. Just make sure you don’t click on the ads.

  16. However, repeatedly reload your page to jack up page impressions can get you banned.

  17. When in doubt don’t hesitate to contact the AdSense team. They are very helpful.

  18. Choose a high paying niche without too much competition.

  19. You can try highest paying keywords from cwire.org, but know before-hand that you’ll face very fierce competitions.

  20. Use Overture Bid Tool and Search Engine Keyword Tool to find suitable keyword.

Six steps to Adsense Domination

by: Keith Baxter

When you make your living online, you realize the need for multiple streams of income.
One of the easiest and most lucrative ways to generate a secondary income, which also happens to be passive, is via Google’s Adsense program.
I’m sure you’ve read the claims of a few individuals generating five figure monthly incomes from Adsense. For many of you, I’m sure you are wondering why you aren’t making this same income yourself.
Well, wonder no more. If you follow my simple six step system, you will be well on your way to healthy Adsense profits within three months.
Are you ready? It’s now time to pay attention.
Step 1 – Preparation.
The key to making money with Adsense is all about numbers. BIG numbers!

Sure, there are a few people making serious money with less than ten sites, but these are the exception.
Your goal will be twenty-four sites in three months. That’s just TWO sites per week!
In order to accomplish this, I recommend one of the many available page generation tools available today.
Step 2 – Determine Your Markets.
In order to maximize Adsense income with only twenty-four sites, you must know which markets are paying well.
To break this down even further, you need to know which keywords within those markets are paying the most.
Step 3 – Register you domains.
Once you’ve identified and chosen your markets, you must register domains appropriate to those markets. For example, if your market is ‘Cabbage Patch Dolls’, a domain such as http://www.cabbage-patch-doll.com/ would be appropriate.
Step 4 – Create your site.
Using your favorite page generation software and keyword list, it’s time to develop your site. There are several key points to bear in mind when you develop these specifically for Adsense.
1. Format – Always use the large 336x280 large rectangle.
2. Border – Match the same color as your background.
3. Background color - Border – Match the same color as your background.
4. Link = "0000CC"
5. Color_url = "999999"
6. Color_text = "333333"
7. Position – Far left or center and just above the page fold (Top 25% of site)
Step 5 – Verify and track your site
Visit your site and make sure all links work and that the sites appear to your satisfaction. You should also check out the ads Google is displaying. Are they targeted to your primary high paying keyword? If not, recreate your site using your high paying keyword in a higher density throughout your site.
Make sure you track your Adsense format, position, and traffic with a tracking system specifically designed for Adsense. Once you know your stats, you can adjust for maximum clickthroughs and higher revenues.
Step 6 – Get your site listed in the search engines.
This is simple… no tricks involved. Simply rent links to your site. A PR7 or PR8 link will do the job.
While I’ve simplified the process here, you are now armed with enough information and resources to make some serious money with Adsense.

Ten Adsense Tips for Maximum CTR

by: Christos Varsamis

1) You should make your Adsense ads look as a part of your web page. They shouldn't look like an Ad. People are negative to advertising. They search the internet for content not ads. Especially Banners have a less of 0,5% response. Their days are over. Imagine if you have an Adsense ad looking like the typical Banner with different colors. It will not be profitable.

2) Text ads are better than image ads. Like before,

people are more responsive to text than images. In a way it is considered as a part of the online document and is more clickable.

3) No Border ads. One of the best tricks is to erase the borders of Adsense ads and make them again having the same color with your website's background.

4) No other advertisements. The first reason is to be legitimate according to Google's Rules and the second more practical reason is that you do not want to distract your visitor's attention and go somewhere else without clicking your Adsense ads.

5) Placement. Even if you have the best Ad, people will not respond if they don't see it instantly. The best place to see the ad is the top of your web page and the next is aside

your document's text. Visitors will click it more frequently since it will look like your text.

6) Traffic. Try to use legitimate ways of traffic. Some people use Google Adwords and other Pay per Click search engines. The problem here is to search very carefully for the right niche and keywords in order to make your campaigns profitable. Other ways is link popularity techniques like link exchange directories, software or even mass blog submission techniques. Don't use link farms and classifieds for that, because search engine's algorithms are extremely clever and they will ban your listings.

7) Do not rely on one website. Yes you can make money with one website but try to make as more as possible.

8) Relevant content is King. Articles are one of the best tactics to create huge websites that will be crawled by search engine's robots. Don't forget search engines exist to provide relevant content at first. One excellent resource to automate your article directory procedure is http://www.articleequalizer.com .You can create an article database in minutes which otherwise is time consuming and it would take you a week!

9) Use site maps. Google's site maps visit your site and crawl it much sooner that any other submission process. More information is here: http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps

10) Relevant ads. It's one of the most important factors for Adsense success. If the internet user can't find relevant ad in your page he or she won't click the ad. Would you act differently? So it's critical to create relevant resource for your web page. In order to do that, you must do the following steps.

First the file must be saved with the appropriate name for example: Golf-Secrets.html if your article is about golf. So the webpage will be:

www.yoursitesname.com/Golf-Secrets.html

Second thing you must change is your title tag. For example:

Title Golf-Secrets article title

Third is the heading. The first sentence must have this heading:

12 Golf secrets

Google Adsense - Ads That Make You Money!

by: Lewis Low

Imagine... being paid checks by the largest and most popular search engine, simply for displaying a few ads on your website for FREE?
Well, this is exactly what the Google Adsense program is all about! And when you think about it, it's a revolutionary way of earning yourself a useful online side income. But let's back up a bit...
In the past, many webmasters displayed ads from various companies, via pop-ups, banners, pop-ins and pop-unders. However, visitors to these sites soon got tired of these advertising methods - I mean, who'd like to go to a website where they'd have to close pop-up windows every other minute? This resulted in a dramatic loss of traffic, and in turn made many webmasters to lose profits.
That's when Google announced a novel program – Google Adsense. Instead of having to use banners and pop-ups to advertise companies and gain a commission, website publishers could now earn a decent profit by displaying unobtrusive text ads on the content pages of their website. Since the ads displayed were often directly related to what your visitors are looking for on your site, you had a way to both monetize and subtly enhance your web content.
One of the main reasons for its popularity, is the fact that the Google Adsense program is incredibly accurate. By stepping beyond the boundaries of simple keyword matching, it has quickly become one of the most prominent tools to display accurate advertisements. A list of keywords is still used as the basis of triggering ads, but complex algorithms now ensure that non-relevant ads no longer show up on your site.
Google Adsense also gives you the option to be selective about the type of ads you wish to display. This helps you direct your visitors towards certain type of products and avoid non-relevant or competitor ads. To make it possible for everyone to integrate Adsense into their sites, the program offers a wide variety of settings that allow you to alter the ads' size and appearance.
Google offers their Adsense program to just about all website owners. After signing up for the program, you'll receive an HTML/ XML code to paste on all of your web pages. Then, Google will dynamically generate ads that are relevant to your web content. Whenever a visitor clicks on one of the Adsense ads on your site, Google credits your account with a percentage of money that was paid by the advertiser for that ad.
To sign up for this terrific program, hop over to http://www.google.com/adsense It's super easy to set up - just a few clicks of your mouse and you're ready to go! Once you start displaying targeted Google Adsense ads on your website, you can expect to generate a sizable income depending on the traffic flow to your site and how many visitors actually click on the ads.

How to Make AdSense Work For You

By Blake Evans

How would you like to work with a company that has been able to earn billions even in the midst of a bad economy? With this company, you would have no deadlines, bosses or stress. In fact, if you like writing or blogging, you might actually have fun with the 'work.' Best of all, you would earn money while working in your pajamas.

Well, thanks to Google and their AdSense program, all of these things can become a reality. However, you need to learn how to make AdSense work for your situation. You can't expect to get rich overnight, even with high paying AdSense keywords. Instead, you need to take things slowly, using old-fashioned SEO to get your AdSense sites noticed.

What is involved with old-fashioned SEO? Basically, you write your content using Internet keywords that contain a lot of searches yet minimal competition. Keyword analyzers are the tools to use in this endeavor. You can even use Google's AdSense keyword tool, if you want to see how much Google charges its customers for the term. This will give you some idea of the type of profit you could make when incorporating it into your content.

There is another way SEO can make AdSense work for you. It's called article marketing. To do this, you will have to create additional content that is apart from your website. This content needs to contain appropriate keywords, just like it would if it was going to be on your site for real.

Anyway, after you write your articles, you need to submit them to article directories. Ezine Articles has the most pr, but you will need to get a domain name for your website. In addition, you will need to wait a few days for your article to get approved. If it isn't approved, you must make the appropriate changes and wait again before it will get indexed online. If this is a problem for you, there's the option of submitting your content on less stringent networks, such as Go Articles or Amazines. There are even sites that will make AdSense work for you even further, since they utilize a concept known as AdSense revenue-sharing. They work by giving you a portion of their AdSense earnings. Xoomba is an example. After your articles are submitted, your AdSense site will begin to receive traffic. But don't start there. You can also make AdSense work for you by using word-of-mouth marketing. Tell everyone you know about your site, and if it is good, they will spread the word too.
